SWEDISH COURSES

Swedish (Svenska) belongs to the Scandinavian group of the German branch of the Indo-European language family and is closely related to Danish and Norwegian. It is spoken predominantly in Sweden and in parts of Finland by close to 9 million people. Swedish is one of the official languages of the European Union.

Learning Swedish

Swedish is not considered a hard language to learn and is particularly straightforward for those with a knowledge of German. Our Swedish courses are designed to build fluency and spontaneity in using the language in a range of business and social situations and combine fluency and listening skills development with structured language input and carefully integrated vocabulary extension exercises. Every course is geared to developing effective communication skills in Swedish by practising the language on the telephone, in meetings scenarios, socially and in day-to-day work situations.
